The pressure to "learn AI" creates a lot of anxiety and a lot of wasted effort. Most people chase tools that change every quarter, when the durable skill is something else entirely.
The skill that compounds in the AI era is judgment: framing a good question, recognizing a weak answer, and knowing where a human still belongs in the loop. Tools come and go; that judgment stays valuable.
Start where you already are. Take one task you do weekly, hand the first draft to an AI, and review it critically. You'll learn more in a month of that than in any "AI mastery" course.
